It is important to distinguish between members and those running the profession. Sometimes it seems that the secretariat are in control, rather than Council, none of whom ever respond to questions.
Yet again, members are virtually being instructed to vote yes, not for the first time. The lack of balance is highly disturbing, reminiscent of when the 2010 merger was being plotted. The case stated is incredibly weak and should be compared with the inferred case.
IFoA have been found guilty of discrimination, of which they were well aware. When it comes to disciplinary complaints, the actual cases presented have sometimes been chopped-up into different items, rearranged in order, without reference to the complainant (personal experience).
If IFoA are prepared to provide more hard information, I will publish it.
